^Lot 2413 WWI GERMAN M1916/17 HELMET WITH CAMOFLAUGE PAINT &

A PRUSSIAN ARTILLERY FELDMUTZE. 1) WWI German M1916 helmet with field green green and red camouflage paint. Inside left of helmet is stamped "ET66". Black leather three pad liner with black leather chin strap. CONDITION: camouflage paint is a bit worn, but easily discernible. Outer finish is about 70%. Liner is dry with minor losses. Chin strap is complete. 2) Feldmutze has a gray-green body with bright red piping and band. At the top is a small National kokard with a Prussian kokard on the band. The cotton muslin lining is stamped "57". CONDITION: light wear throughout. (02-26244/BF). NON-GUN. $800-1,200.
